In response to the 2024 call for proposals of the Ligue Contre le Cancer "Innovative cell therapies in oncology: new vectors, new targets", Prof. Emmanuel BACHY's team has obtained a grant of € 640,500 for the project "Functional improvement of CAR-T cells by Boolean and epigenetic approaches". This 3-year project is being carried out in collaboration with Prof. Olivier Hermine, Head of the Hematology Department at Necker Hospital and Director of Inserm Unit U1163 at the Imagine Institute in Paris, Prof. Michel Sadelain, Head of the Center for Cell Engineering at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer (MSKCC) in New York and Dr. Laurent Genestier, co-director of the Lymphoma Immunobiology team in Lyon (LIB) Inserm U1111-CNRS UMR 5308.
