Laboratory Logistics Assistant

The role of the biological sample logistician is to manage the stocks of kits used for samples (blood, tissues, etc.) from patients with hematologic malignancies so that they can be sent and then analyzed by a reference laboratory chosen by the sponsor (centralized laboratory). He has a transversal role by collaborating with laboratory technicians and clinical research associates. He is involved in several clinical trials.

Main activities

Inventory management: Order kits as needed / Store and organize the kits / Update the listing by deleting the used kits / Destroy expired kits and issue the corresponding destruction certificate.

Planning and monitoring of shipments: Plan shipping requests and ensure package tracking / Receive the packages by checking their conformity.

Management of protocol medical equipment: Receive and return medical equipment (ECG, pump, scales, etc.) / Request and collect protocol biopsies.

Permanent communication with the different members of the team to ensure good organization and compliance with protocols.

Required skills

• Mastership of IT tools (WORD, EXCEL, ACCESS notions)

•Sense of organization, rigor and respect

• Relational ease, sense of communication

Required level

No diploma required – Office Pack mastery essential
